We are looking for a young, entrepreneurial person to join our renovation, installation and restoration work in natural and artificial stone with immediate effect or by arrangement
Building construction draughtsman / site manager 80 - 100 %
Focus of the area of responsibility:
In this position, you will take responsibility for construction projects from measurement surveys, work preparation, resource planning, cost control, invoicing to post-calculation, advising architects on planning and creating 3D CAD models of natural stone workpieces. With persuasive power, you will manage your own construction sites in a construction team of 15-20 employees and ensure the optimization of quality, efficiency and satisfied customers
Your profile:
You have training as a structural draughtsman, preferably with site manager experience and further training as a site manager. You have sound IT and 3D CAD skills. You impress employees, customers and partners with your solution-oriented, engaging manner, friendly approach and clear communication.

Processing natural stone in the mass work according to templates
- Production and manufacture of profiled parts in sandstone and cast stone
- Work according to drawings
- Assembly, relocation of the manufactured parts
- Fitting the stones to the building
- Cutting stones incl. surface treatment, sharpening, toothing and embossing
Your profile:
- completed training as a stonemason or stone sculptor
- craftsmanship skills
- Knowledge of CNC machines is an advantage
- Willingness to work in the workshop and on construction sites
- Reliable, fit and physically resilient
- Technical understanding
- Work independently and also used to working in a team
- good oral and written German language skills
- PC knowledge
- Driver's license Cat. B and car available

People have been working with stone since time immemorial. The professions of stonemason, stonemason and stone sculptor have a long history. As an SME, we are interested in specialized professionals. That's why we invest a lot in training our apprentices in the professions of stonemason (EFZ 4 years) and stonemason (EFZ 3 years).
In cooperation with schools and associations, we want to promote the profession of "stone worker".
Documentation on stonemason trainingThe basic vocational training course for stonemasons lasts four years. It includes working in a company as well as attending vocational school, which takes place in weekly classes at the Bern or St. Gallen Schools of Design. In the training company, the focus is on working with natural stone: by hand with various tools and hand machines, knowledge of the various materials and fasteners as well as the execution of work according to sketches and plans
After obtaining the Federal Certificate of Competence "Stonemason EFZ / Steinmetzin EFZ", numerous career prospects and further training opportunities open up in this field.
